The brushless doubly-fed generator(BDFG)has attracted much attention due to its simple structure,adjustable power factor,and small inverter capacity.In this paper,the application of brushless doubly-fed generators in diesel generator sets is studied,and the operating characteristics of diesel-powered systems with brushless doubly-fed generators and permanent magnet synchronous generators(PMSG)are simulated.The study has demonstrated that brushless doubly-fed diesel power generation systems can output high quality electrical energy over a wide range of speeds.The fuel economy performance of the brushless doubly-fed high-efficiency diesel power generation system is verified by comparing the fuel consumption of the diesel generator system based on permanent magnet synchronous generator under the same conditions.Finally,an experimental platform for brushless doubly-fed diesel power generation system is established.The fuel consumption and power supply system performance at different speeds are measured.The efficiency and stability of the brushless doubly-fed diesel power generation system are verified.The paper first discusses the research background,significance and research status of diesel engines and brushless doubly-fed generators,and combs the development trend and application prospects of the body and control strategies of brushless doubly-fed machines.Based on the basic structure and working principle of the brushless doubly-fed generator,the mathematical model of the brushless doubly-fed generator and the diesel engine is established,and the independent generating operation control algorithm of the diesel unit based on the brushless doubly-fed generator is established.Secondly,the simulation model of brushless doubly-fed high-efficiency diesel power generation control system is established.The inverter unit of the brushless doubly-fed generator control system adopts current vector decoupling control to realize the vector control algorithm of voltage and current double closed loop.On this basis,the control system of the brushless doubly-fed generator is simulated.The steady-state characteristics,dynamic characteristics and load response of the brushless doubly-fed motor are analyzed in detail.The fuel consumption of the brushless doubly-fed diesel power generation system at different speeds is measured,and the fuel consumption characteristics of diesel power generation system based on permanent magnet synchronous generator are compared under the same conditions.The simulation results verify that the brushless doubly-fed diesel power generation system can effectively improve diesel utilization and achieve high-efficiency output under variable load conditions.Finally,the hardware design of the brushless doubly-fed diesel power generation system is carried out,and the experimental platform of the brushless doubly-fed high-efficiency diesel power generation system is built.Through the no-load and load-bearing analysis of the power generation system,the rapid response of the power generation system and the voltage stability during load change are verified.The efficiency and fuel economy of the brushless doubly-fed generator are verified by measuring the fuel consumption of the diesel engine at different speeds.The experimental results have effectively proved the simulation design.
