Unmanned aerial vehicles is flexible,convenient and low cost.They have been widely used in various industries such as agriculture,electricity inspection,aerial photography and transportation.As more and more UAVs putting into use,aircraft's flight status data monitoring becomes more and more important;however,there are many problems,for example,in current flight condition monitoring system,data acquisition modules often use airborne IMU chips,which is not safe for fighting.Monitoring data is transmitted by the control link of the aircraft,which is not conducive for the continuity of the monitoring process;the flight data display mostly uses text or curve mode,so that the data display is not intuitive enough.Aiming at the above problems,this paper designs a flight condition monitoring system based on virtual reality technology.The system includes flight status display,aircraft attitude simulation,real terrain three-dimensional display,aircraft track display,mileage record,flight data storage and playback.For the problem of data display,based on the virtual reality technology,this paper establishes the 3D terrain model and the 3D model of the aircraft,they simulate the flight and attitude changes of the aircraft.The location of the 3D terrain scene data is closer to the real process of restoring the entire aircraft flight and attitude changes.At the same time,this paper analysis how to set up data acquisition module to reduces the impact on the flight control chip of the aircraft for ensuring the safety of the aircraft.With independent communication data link,the monitoring data transmission does not occupy the original aircraft communication data link,and the continuity of the monitoring process is ensured without affecting the remote control of the aircraft.Finally,comprehensive tests were carried out for the different functions of the monitoring system.The test results show that the monitoring system can receive and display the monitoring data returned by the data acquisition module,and can display the flight path of the aircraft and calculate the accumulated mileage.In the virtual reality scene,the 3D terrain model can visually represent the undulation and shape features of the terrain surface,and simulate the whole flight process and attitude angle variation of the aircraft through dynamic model.
