| From the previous research experience,the basic theoretical research on structural model,structural response analysis and seismic design principles are abundant,but the research on the differential response of structural response under different determination methods of ground motion is scarce.Generally,the input ground motions are different,the effects of the structural seismic response are also different,but the degree of effects is still to be studied.Therefore,this paper takes frame structures as examples,and focuses on the differential effects of structural seismic response under different determination methods of ground motion,in order to provide reference and advice for the selection of ground motion in analysis of frame structures.In this study,a 3-story and a 6-story frame structure are used as models.The typical seismic time histories,the artificial waves generated by the design response spectrum,the actual waves selected by the design spectrum,the actual seismic time histories recorded by the Wenchuan earthquake and the simulation for earthquake by EXSIM are selected as 5 different determination methods of ground motion.And 8 acceleration time histories are selected for each methods.The mean value of seismic response of two frames,the difference of structural response between 5 determination methods of ground motion and the degree of dispersion are systematically compared with the input parameter-acceleration response spectrum,and structural response parameters-the peak of top displacement,peak of base shear force,inter-story drift,peak of top acceleration under three different ground motion intensities of frequent,fortification and rare earthquakes.The comparative results show that the influence law of the 5 determination methods of ground motion on different frame structures tends to be consistent among different seismic response indices.While,the typical seismic time histories is the largest,the simulation for earthquake by EXSIM is the smallest,the artificial waves generated by the design response spectrum,the actual waves selected by the design spectrum and the actual seismic time histories recorded by the Wenchuan earthquake are moderate.But the difference between different determination methods of ground motion varies with the seismic response parameters and structural height.At the same time,the dispersion of input ground motions under different determination methods of ground motion is different.The typical seismic time histories and the actual seismic time histories recorded by the Wenchuan earthquake are larger,the artificial waves generated by the design response spectrum is the smallest,the actual waves selected by the design spectrum and the simulation for earthquake by EXSIM are moderate.It can be seen that different determination methods of ground motion have different effects on the seismic response of frame structures,and the dispersion of the input seismic under each method is also great.The actual conditions such as seismic response parameters and the requirement of dispersion should be considered in the time-history analysis of frame for engineering in order to obtain reasonable input ground motions.The influence of various determination methods of ground motion,which concluded by this paper on the seismic response of frame structures,can provide suggestions and references for seismic design when determining the input ground motions. |
