Based on the development and application of the navigation simulator,this paper focuses on the establishment and calculation of its core technology,the mathematical model of ship motion.Dalian Maritime University's teaching practice ship YU PENG is currently the largest and most advanced teaching practice ship in China.It has installed a navigation simulator with the same functions as the production bridge,which allows the interns to operate and simulate driving.Therefore,the establishment of high-precision YU PENG round six-degree-of-freedom mathematical model can not only accurately predict the movement state of the ship,but also improve the behavioral realism of YU PENG navigation simulator.To this end,the main work done in this article is:Firstly,based on the idea of separation modeling of ship motion mathematical model,the maneuverability and seakeeping of the ship are integrated,and the full-speed six-degree-of-freedom motion mathematical model is established for YU PENG.Secondly,considering the influence of wind,wave and current on ship motion,this paper uses Iwai Akira method to establish the mathematical model of wind disturbance force simulation;based on Froude-Krylov assumption,establishes the first-order wave interference force simulation mathematical model;Assuming that the current is a uniform flow,a mathematical model of uniform flow disturbance simulation is established.Thirdly,using the YU PENG profile,three-dimensional geometric modeling is performed in the CATIA software and verified with the type table.Fourthly,the generated 3D geometric model was imported into the CFD software,and the numerical calculation of the hydrodynamics of the direct movement and the oblique movement of YU PENG under ballast and full load conditions was carried out.The direct flight resistance calculation results are compared with the ship model physical pool test data.The hydrodynamic derivative of the diagonal hydrodynamic coefficient and the moment coefficient are obtained by polynomial fitting,and the fitting results are compared with the empirical formula.The results show that the relative error is within the acceptable range of the project;finally,the calculated hydrodynamic derivative is substituted into the mathematical model for forecasting and motion simulation.Fifthly,using the C++language as a tool,a ship motion simulation test platform was developed.Taking YU PENG as the simulation object,a series of motion simulation tests were carried out under ballast and full load conditions respectively,and some simulation test results were compared with real ship sea test data or IMO ship maneuverability standards,and verified.The correctness of the mathematical model.
