The combustion device is the heart of the industrial furnace.As the increasing of awareness of environmental protection in mind of people and clean energy extraction of natural gas in our country,as well as the decreasing profits of steel industry in china,design and research of new burners is of great significance for solving the problems of low energy efficiency and high NO_x emissions of traditional industrial furnaces.In this paper,a regenerative high-speed flat flame burner is designed based on the regenerative combustion technology,and combined with the traditional high-speed burners and flat flame burners.The computational fluid dynamics numerical simulation method was used to study its combustion characteristics.The gas reflow rate and the diameter of the mixed combustion chamber were numerically simulated for the heat storage flat flame burner by using the k-? turbulence model,the discrete ordinate(DO)radiation model,the non-premixed combustion model and the NO_x pollutant model respectively of the ANSYS-Flunet software and from aspects of the preheated air temperature,excess air coefficient,flue gas reflux rate and the diameter of the mixed combustion chamber,then the variation of the temperature field,velocity field and NO mass fraction cloud pattern of the burner were simulated.The analysis results show that the optimal excess air range of the burner is 1.05~1.15,the optimal flue gas reflux range is 10%~15%,and the optimal mixed combustion chamber diameter is 350mm~400mm.By comparing numerical simulation results and experimental data,it can be concluded that when the three parameters of the burner are within their optimal ranges,the burner can obtain higher combustion temperature,flame speed and lower NO emissions,and the smoke Gas return technology has a significant effect on reducing NO emissions from burners.The results obtained by the numerical simulation method in this paper agreeing well with that of relevant theoretical calculation and experiments prove that the simulation method is correct,the model selection is reasonable,and the solution method is correct.The results may provide reference for the design and optimization of the regenerative flat flame burner in the future.
