CubeSat is a kind of Micro/Nano Satellite whose volume and shape are standardized.Compared with the traditional large-scale satellite,it has the advantages of small size,low cost and short development cycle,which has attracted the attention of universities and research institutes in various countries.With the increase of space debris caused by the increase in the number of emission of CubeSat,the impact on the space environment has become more and more significant.In order to deorbit and destroy the scrap CubeSat in orbit,this article discussed the technology of deorbit by using a drag sail,and will design a drag sail device for the deorbit of the "Huaian" CubeSat under research.Work contents are as follows.The various drag technologies of spacecraft are analyzed,and their applications on drag devices were summarized.The characteristics of different deorbit technologies were compared and analyzed,and a drag sail deorbit technology based on CubeSat was proposed.A general design scheme of a drag sail device based on the fast deorbit of a CubeSat was proposed.Firstly,according to the satellite's overall parameters,the technical requirements of the drag sail device were put forward.According to the requirements of the deorbit mission,the STK software was used to analyze the relationship between the deorbit time and the area of the drag sail.Finally,the area parameters of the drag sail were calculated.A structural design study of a drag sail device was carried out.The key components were analyzed mechanically and the strength was checked.The structural design of the locking mechanism and circuit design of the wire-burning were studied,the burning time was analyzed and calculated,a wire-burning test on the prototype was carried out.Finite element analysis of the drag sail device was carried out to check stiffness and strength,and dynamic response analysis was completed to verify the rationality of the design scheme.Thermal simulation analysis on the drag sail device was performed to determine the thermal cycle test conditions.The drag sail material was selected and processed the folding and connecting method of the drag sail were determined at the same time,the design and processing of the folding tooling and the connecting film sleeve were performed.Finally,the ground environmental test of the drag sail device was carried out.The results showed that the mechanical performance and thermal performance of the drag sail met the design requirements.
