Self-propelled motors can spontaneously convert physical energy or chemical energy into mechanical energy,and complete tasks such as cargo transport,environmental management,and dynamic self-assembly.Mini generators based on Faraday,s law have exploited a new application of self-propelled motors in energy conversion,which have attracted wide attention.However,most reported mini-generators normally consume high-grade energy to produce low electric energy.Herein,in order to solve the problem that the energy conversion efficiency of the mini-generator was low and the output power was difficult to apply,this thesis proposed to combine the mini-generator with the existing fermentation production line.So the energy conversion efficiency was greatly improved by avoiding the consumption of high-grade energy,and the generated electric energy was applied to the fermentation process.This novel strategy is expected to promote the development of mini-generators and provide new ideas for powering microelectronic devices.The main tasks are as follows:1.Established a mini-generator model driven by chemical energy.In the magnesium-hydrochloric acid system,in order to solve the interference of the curvature force on the motion,we used the gas transfer properties of superhydrophobic surfaces to realize the vertical reciprocating motion of the mini-generator model.By optimizing surface wetting properties and energy conversion devices,the energy conversion efficiency was increased by three orders of magnitude.2.Proposed the strategy of combining the mini-generator with dark fermentation hydrogen production.By utilizing the waste energy in the fermentation line as input energy,the mini-generator could generate extra electric energy of 0.47 J/g Glucose without reducing the original energy production,and increased the energy conversion efficiency to 40%.3.Developed the application of mini-generators for powering microelectronic devices.The problem of irregular gas release was solved by using a superhydrophobic cushion valve,which enabled the mini-generator to achieve regular motion and continuous electricity generation,and the movement time exceeded 20,000 seconds.By further adjusting experimental parameters,the output voltage was increased to 2.4 V,which was sufficient to light a dozen LEDs.At the same time,in consideration of the combination of the mini-generator and the existing fermentation process,the generated electric energy was used to monitor the gas flow in the fermentation production,which realized the utilization and conversion of waste energy.
