The ring-shaped floating ring seal has become one of the important sealing forms in the aerospace industry due to its adaptability and stability of sealing performance.This paper systematically studies and analyzes the influencing factors of the normal working state,follow-up,leakage characteristics and friction heat generation of the ring-shaped floating ring seal without dynamic pressure groove structure.According to the force analysis of the ring-shaped seal,the finite element model of the ring-shaped floating ring seal was established,and the contact pressure of the sealing surface under the working condition was calculated.The stress and displacement distribution of the sealing ring under working conditions is analyzed.It is found that the stress deformation of the sealing surface is small and the distribution is uniform under the working condition,and the weak point of the structural strength of the sealing ring appears at the discontinuity of the structure of the lap joint.The normal working conditions and follow-up problems of the sealing ring are analyzed.The speed,the quality of the sealing ring and the tightening force of the ring spring are the main factors affecting the normal working condition and follow-up of the sealing ring,and the structural optimization and spring force setting of the sealing ring.Based on the stress-strain analysis and principle test of the ring-shaped floating ring seal,the calculation model of the leakage of the boundary friction of the ring-shaped floating ring seal is established,and the seal closing pressure and sealing gap are calculated.The ring-shaped floating ring seal is sealed.The working characteristics optimize the speed coefficient in the leak model.The effects of sealing condition parameters,structural parameters,spring force,sealing surface topography and friction coefficient on the leakage amount of the seal were studied.It was found that the working condition parameters,structural parameters and spring force mainly affected the sealing leakage amount by changing the sealing closing pressure.The surface topographymainly affectsthe leakage gap of the seal.The frictional thermal structure model of the sealed and sealed runway was established.The influences of working parameters,structural parameters,spring force and friction coefficient on the frictional heating of the ring-shaped seal were discussed.The differential pressure,the rotational speed,the ring spring tightening force,the friction coefficient and the width of the main sealing surface are the main factors affecting the friction and heat generation of the seal.According to the research results,the suggestions and optimization methods for the runway cooling such as improving the structure of the runway and selecting the base material with good heat conductivity are given.The main influences of design parameters on seal follow-up,leakage and friction heat are summarized.The design idea and optimization method of ring-valve floating ring seal are proposed.The ring-valve floating ring seal test device was designed and built to measure the leakage and the runway temperature under different rotation speed,differential pressure,spring force and surface roughness of the seal ring.Compared with the theoretical calculation value,the seal leakage calculation was verified.During the test,it was found that after the sealing ring was run in conjunction with the runway,the sealing surface became better and the leakage amount was optimized.The ring spring tightening force had a great influence on the sealing heat;the sealing ring broke during operation.The sealing performance did not change much during the period,indicating that the ring-shaped floating ring seal has high stability after fracture.By studying the leakage,follow-up and frictional heat of the ring-shaped floating ring seal without dynamic pressure groove structure,the characteristics and advantages of the ring-shaped floating ring can be fully understood,and the design optimization of the ring-shaped floating ring seal is provided.A certain method and research basis.
