With the advancement of urbanization and infrastructure construction in China,a large number of natural sand and gravel have been overexploited,at the same time,a large number of recyclable construction waste has been produced. After crushing, screening, cleaning and grading, the waste concrete in these construction wastes can be re-made into recycled aggregates by mixing appropriate proportion and gradation, replacing some or ail natural aggregates such as sand and stone, and then mixing cement, water or some natural aggregates to form recycled concrete.Recycled concrete itself is a kind of green environmental protection material. This research group combines the recycled concrete technology with the original ordinary concrete hollow block masonry structure, and proposes the use of recycled concrete to prepare hollow block with transverse holes. This kind of block has the characteristics of realizing assembly wall construction and low engineering cost.Recycled concrete block masonry has become the focus of research in recent years, but scholars at home and abroad have mainly studied recycled concrete vertical hole block systematically, and the research on recycled concrete cross hole hollow block and its wall needs to be further deepened. In order to give full play to the engineering value of recycled concrete hollow block walls with transverse holes, this paper makes an experimental study and theoretical analysis on the local uniform compression of eight masonry walls in three locations:the middle part, the end part and the corner part. The specific research work is as follows:(1)the compressive strength and failure characteristics of recycled concrete hollow block masonry with transverse holes are obtained through the compressive strength material test. The compressive strength test values of recycled concrete hollow block masonry with transverse holes are compared with the calculated values of the standard formula.(2)the local uniform compression tests of 8 masonry walls at the middle, end and corner are carried out.The cracking loads, failure loads, failure characteristics and experimental phenomena of the test specimens under the local uniform loads are obtained. The effects of height-thickness ratio and local compression area on the local compressive bearing capacity of the walls are analyzed.(3)according to the formulas for calculating the local compressive bearing capacity of masonry walls, and comparing them with the test results, the proposed formulas for calculating the local compressive bearing capacity of recycled concrete hollow block walls with transverse holes are put forward by fitting and modifying the formulas. In this paper, the problem of calculating local compression of recycled concrete hollow block walls with transverse holes is solved.
