High radon concentration(the concentration of high radon>1×105 Bq·m-3)is different from the ordinary or low radon concentration in daily life,and it can accurately and timely measure the high radon concentration can not only protect the health of workers in mines or nuclear power projects,but also bring great contributions to scientific research in other fields.Therefore,the measurement of high radon concentration is very necessary.However,the current measurement methods of radon and its daughters are usually limited to the general concentration of radon.There is no effective method for measuring radon at high concentrationBased on the method of radon measurement by activated carbon box method,this paper improves the radon collection box and sets up an experimental method which can measure the concentration of radon with high purity germanium gamma-ray spectrometer.Through a series of tests on the stability uniformity of the acquisition device and a comparative experiment of the ?-spectrometer radon measurement method with the scintillation chamber radon measurement method,the accuracy and correctness of the method for measuring the high radon concentration by the established ?-spectrometer are guaranteed...
