The Analysis Of The Route Chinese Railway Projects Getting Into Africa

Due to the backward infrastructure construction in African countries,the economic and social development is relatively slow.In particular,large-scale infrastructure such as railway constitution has a pivotal impact on the economic development of a country.With increasingly mature railway technology,rich experience in building railways under harsh conditions,sufficient financial support,government’s strong promotion,rich construction and operation experience,China has cooperated with Africa in railway construction projects for many times and explored the road of "going global" for railway projects.However,there are also some common difficulties in China,such as technological innovation and technical standards,risk of capital investment,unstable international political situation,fierce international and domestic competition and lack of talents.Since the 21 st century,railway cooperation projects between China and Africa have seen new development.African countries that are eager to develop transportation infrastructure are increasingly considering cooperation with China.The aqua railway,Mombasa-Nairobi railway and the Addis Ababa-Djibouti railway show the possible path of China’s railway getting into Africa from three aspects: promoting Chinese standard "going out",improving the integration of construction and operation and "going out" of the whole industrial chain.In order to promote China’s railway projects better to the world,Chinese enterprises should strive to improve Chinese standards,standardize the "going global" standard for operation and management and strengthen the development of the whole industrial chain model.
