Relay protection detect the abnormal operation status or fault status of the power system,send a corresponding signal to isolate or remove the abnormal operation part or fault part to ensure the safe and stable operation of the power grid.It is the most basic and effective technical means for ensuring the stable and normal operation of power system equipment.Modern power systems are characterized by large units,high capacity,high voltage,long distance,and intelligence,and operational efficiency is significantly improved by the meantime the complexity of operations is also constantly increasing.Relay protection,as an important part of securing the power grid,faces enormous challenges.It is of great significance to carry out research on on-site risk assessment of relay protection,establish a scientific risk assessment model that can reflect relay protection,formulate effective preventive management measures,and improve the reliability operation level of relay protection to ensure the safe and stable operation of the power grid.Based on the above research background,first of all,this paper reviews the current status of national electricity safety production,and explains the importance of on-site risk assessment research for relay protection,and comprehensively introduces the research status and development prospects of domestic and foreign experts and scholars on risk assessment.Secondly,starting from the job content and risk factors of the relay protection site,this paper identify and analyze all potential threats during relay protection site operations from the aspects of human and material insecurity and management system factors to minimize accidents.We introduce the research ideas of Hall 3D model,and use FMEA method to identify and analyze all potential risk factors on the job site;Further,it outlines the basic principles and analysis methods of fault tree analysis and accident analysis,and combines the advantages and characteristics of fault tree method and event tree method,and then proposes an improved fault tree and event tree integration model;the fault tree method is mainly used for the logical analysis of accident risk,and the event tree method is used to formulate corresponding pre-control measures for weak links,and combined with the relay protection site,the inheritance model is actually obtained,and the fuzzy theory is combined with the fuzzy theory to calculate the quantitative risk.Finally,the method is used to quantitatively analyze the risk factors in the typical case of relay protection field operation,and the practicability of the proposed method is verified..
