In recent years,with the development of ion-electric propulsion technology,it has been widely used in aviation control and propulsion.At present,the measurement of thrust mainly includes balance method and laser interference method etc.Because the thrust produced by the ion thruster is werely the magnitude of millinewtons(mN),and greatly affected by the surrounding environment,it will produce unnecessary errors in the measurement.To solve the problem that it is difficult to measure the thrust of ion thruster,a non-contact laser measurement method is proposed in this paper.Compared with the traditional thrust measurement method,non-contact laser measurement method has the characteristics of high measurement accuracy and simple structure.Based on the Biefeld-Brown effect,the paper analyzes and compares the advantages and disadvantages of traditional micro-thrust measurement,and combines the simple pendulum structure with non-contact laser measurement technology to build a thrust measurement platform for ion-electric thrusters.Comparing the two classical incident modes of non-contact laser measurement,according to the experimental needs of this subject,a new triangulation method(dynamic oblique laser triangulation method)is proposed.The error analysis of the mechanical system is carried out,and the feasibility of the thrust test platform is verified theoretically.The system is based on STC89C52 single chip microcomputer,the system adopts the method of combining hardware and software.The output signal collected by linear CCD is processed by signal processing circuit to obtain relatively stable image analog electrical signal.The collected information is transmitted to the upper computer through serial communication to calculate the necessary detection information of the push force,so as to realize the accurate measurement of the thrust of the ion thruster.According to the calibration experiment,the thrust measurement platform has good repeatability,which basically satisfies the needs of the subject.The ion electric thruster was tested for thrust measurement.The results show that the platform is feasible to measure the thrust generated by the ion electric thruster,and achieves the function and performance at the beginning of the design.
