China is a large river country,and bank collapses occur frequently.Bank collapses,as a typical natural disaster of rivers,seriously threaten river flood control projects and the safety of people's lives and properties on both sides of the river,and restrict the social and economic development of coastal cities.The change of river water level is an important reason for the bank collapse of the river bank slope.When the soil body of the bank slope is soaked by the current due to the rise of the water level,its shear strength will be greatly reduced,and when the water level suddenly falls,because the pore water pressure cannot Dissipate in time,affecting the stability of the bank slope.However,the mechanism of bank collapse is complex and the research is not yet mature.Therefore,the bank collapse mechanism of rivers has been further improved and improved,and corresponding bank protection measures have been formulated to mitigate the impact of bank collapse to the impact of bank collapse.Slope control and river normal operation management have very important practical significance and engineering application value.This article takes Jiujiang Yangtze River bank collapse as the main research object,on the basis of extensive research collecting and summarizing the theoretical achievements of the previous people's practical experience,through on-site investigation of the actual river section where bank collapse occurs,using indoor model tests and theory The mechanism of river bank collapse was explored through analysis and other methods.Finally,based on the experience of the Yangtze bank protection project,the prediction method and prevention measures of bank collapse were introduced.The main work and conclusions are as follows:1.Summarize the types and characteristics of river bank collapse,analyze the macro-influencing factors and hazards of bank collapse,and the spatial and temporal distribution rules;2.By carrying out indoor model tests,the causes of bank slope instability and destruction under the condition of water level rise and fall are revealed;3.Separate the relationship between seepage and bank collapse,and analyze the stability of the river bank slope during the whole process of water level rise,high water level maintenance,and water level fall,revealing the relationship between water level changes and bank slope stability.4.Introduced bank collapse prediction and bank protection measures and materials commonly used in bank protection projects,and pointed out the future development direction of river bank protection projects.
