In order to solve the problem of urban traffic congestion, major cities have begun to lay subway lines, and the passive safety of subway vehicles has become more and more important. In this paper,an aluminum alloy subway vehicle is used as the carrier, and the multi-body dynamics method is used to simulate the energy absorption structure of the train. It is analyzed whether it meets the energy absorption requirements under different collision conditions. Finally, the vehicle is built based on the finite element method. The model analyzes the crashworthiness of the train and-the safety protection of the occupants.Firstly, taking a subway vehicle as the research object, the main energy absorbing components and working principle of the train are detailed, the main energy absorption process of the train is expounded, and the mechanical characteristics of the coupler are simulated by the nonlinear spring unit No.105.The multi-body dynamics software SIMPACK was used to establish a 6-group subway model, and three collision scenarios with different initial speed conditions were set.According to the collision response of the train,it was verified whether the mechanical characteristics of the energy-absorbing components of each level met the requirements.Secondly, the finite element model of train collision is established, and the large deformation collision analysis of the train is carried out by using PAM-CRASH software.According to the EN15227-2010 standard and related requirements, two different initial velocity conditions are set up to evaluate the crashworthiness of the train, according to the collision response of the train, including the maximum average acceleration of the train, the change of the passenger's living space, and the train wheel lift. Finally, the local environment of the vehicle is constructed, and the Hybrid III type 50th percentile dummy model is introduced, and the numerical simulation is carried out with the speed response of the train collision as the boundary condition.According to the relevant standards, the damage degree of the dummy's secondary collision is analyzed, and the safety protection performance of the subway vehicle for the occupant is evaluated. In this paper, the multi-body dynamics method is used to verify the rationality of the configured coupler and energy-absorbing structure. The passive safety performance of the train is studied by using the finite element method to study the crashworthiness of the train and the secondary collision damage analysis of the occupant.Research has certain reference value for the passive safety design of subway vehicles.
