In recent years,with the development of industrial technology,the requirements for product processing accuracy are more and more strict,and the requirements for the stability and precision of processing devices are also higher and higher.The traditional multi-degree-of-freedom devices with multiple motors working together are unable to meet the current needs,and the multi-DOF motors working together through a single device are more and more concerned by many researchers.However,the supporting structure of the multi-DOF motor is mostly supported by the mechanical shaft,when the motor is moving,the friction is large and mechanical contact is easy to occur which causing in low output and accuracy,large friction loss.Therefore,in this paper,a new type of air suspension multi-DOF motor is proposed,The supporting structure of the motor is air bearing,and the rotor can realize suspension and friction free movement with the supporting of high-pressure air.In this paper,the electromagnetic field of the motor,the selection of air bearing,the problem of thermo-mechanical coupling and dynamics are analyzed.Firstly,the structure principle and magnetic field of the motor are analyzed to verify the rationality of its electromagnetic design.Secondly,the paper introduced the supporting structure of the air bearing,established the mathematical model and analytical program,verified the correctness of the analytical method by comparing the results with the finite volume method simulation software,further analyzed of the bearing parameters on the air bearing and air bearing multi-DOF motor characteristics,the air bearing parameters were optimized through the results of the analysis.After that,the thermal principle of the motor was described.In view of the temperature rise of the motor during long-time operation,too high stress and deformation will damage the motor structure and affect the service life and reliability of the motor.By comparing the temperature rise of the motor with that of the same model,the deformation and stress distribution of the motor were further analyzed,and its good heat dissipation and mechanical design were verified rationality.Finally,the dynamic principle was introduced.In view of the complex mechanical coupling relationship,complex mechanical model and difficult to achieve accurate control of the output trajectory of the air suspension multi-DOF motor,the dynamic mathematical model of the motor was established,the dynamic analysis of the motor support structure and output characteristics was carried out,and a joint simulation platform was built withMATLAB.This paper has a certain reference significance for the design and optimization of air suspension multi-DOF motor.
