It's important to improve the high voltage circuit breaker fault diagnosis accuracy to reduce the production cost,improve its operation reliability.A wide variety of fault types,it is difficult to accurately identify the source of failure.In order to improve the high voltage circuit breaker fault diagnosis accuracy,this paper based on the summary of high voltage circuit breaker fault diagnosis research status at home and abroad,it's proposed the method of combining wavelet transform with probabilistic neural network to analyse the vibration signal and identify the high voltage circuit breaker failure.The particular way: firstly,the wavelet denoising was applied to de-noise processing for the acquisition of vibration signal,secondly,wavelet packet transform for processed signal was applied to get the closing process spectrum coefficient,then the coefficient was divided into segments according to the characteristics of the high voltage circuit breaker closing process and to calculate the energy of the each paragraph as characteristic value,finally,the normalized after processing as a feature vector was sended into the probability neural network,using the probabilistic neural network pattern recognition and classification ability to diagnose and locate the cause of failure.Considering the particularity of working environment of the high voltage circuit breaker,the actual product verified the method with risk,therefore,this paper was first to use the MATLAB simulation platform of high voltage circuit breaker model to verify the feasibility of this method,then a simplified high voltage circuit breaker fault diagnosis system was established by using LabVIEW visual graphics programming language and platform structures.Experiments show that based on Lab VIEW software platform,the method of combining wavelet transform with probabilistic neural network can effectively improve the accuracy and efficiency of high voltage circuit breaker fault diagnosis.
