With the pursuit of environmental protection and health as well as other rising problems such as pollution,traffic jam,energy shortage and other issues,city bikes regain people's attention.Nowadays,as people's higher requirements for means of transportation than before,ordinary city bikes can no longer meet their working and living requirements,we need to inprove city bikes to reduce travel time,to reduce fatigue,and keep health of both physical side and mental side,what's more we need to improve work efficiency,reduce travel cost,avoid congestion and improve the public transport environment.Wheel sets are an important part of city bikes,and the research on energy storing devices plays an important role in optimizing wheel sets and improving city bikes.This thesis analyzes the characteristics of urban road conditions and the typical structure of wheel sets of city bikes.On this basis,the structure of the wheel set system of 26-inch city bikes was optimized,increasing energy storing devices composed of flywheels and spiral springs;the bike start stage under the urban road conditions was optimized to realize effort and time saving of riding;design calculations were carried out on the components of the optimized wheel set system of the city bikes,and mathematical models were established for the optimized city bike wheel sets and components thereof,riding and stepping acceleration,storage energy device acceleration,etc.Kinetics simulation research was conducted for the optimized wheel set system of the city bikes with Matlab software,which shows that the performance of the bike wheel set optimized according to the urban road conditions is higher than the ordinary city bike wheel sets no matter if it analyzed from stepping force or from acceleration time after the first energy storage of the bikes with optimized wheel sets.The structural optimization of bike wheel sets and energy storage device research based on the urban road conditions enlarged the range of application of the energy storage devices,provided a new idea for design of wheel sets of city bikes,and provided a reference for the research and development of other non-fuel vehicles.This thesis is a useful exploration for actual applications of energy storage devices in civil vehicles through the structural optimization of bike wheel sets based on urban road conditions,the theoretical derivations and the simulation researches.
