Research On Modular Design Strategy Of Inheritance Of Architectural Context In Two Of Zhejiang University

Multi-campus and remote construction has become an important mode for running colleges and universities in China.Different from a single campus,the problems of cultural heritage in the construction of the university,as well as the large-scale and short-term construction of a new campus that need to be coordinated by the design team,which have posed challenges to the design of the university.This paper attempts to identify and research from the perspective of architectural design strategies and find ways to cope with the problems aboveThe history of the 120th anniversary of Zhejiang University has experienced the muiti-campus constructions three times,and now it has formed a status of collaborative development within the seven major campuses in three cities.It is typical in the multi-campus construction.Zhoushan campus is the most representative of them,and its heritage of yuquan old school district has been widely recognizedBased on the theoretical reference,this paper adopts the "modularization" in the creation and production of ancient Chinese art as a research method from the<Ten Thousand Things>proposed by Professor Ledderose in 2005.Observing the buildings of Yuquan and Zhoushan campuses,it was found that the main buildings on both sides of the central axis in those two campuses have the characteristics of modular "repetition","mutation" and "hierarchy";in addition,the Zhoushan Campus and analyzed ancient works of art(such as bronzes,calligraphy,porcelain,etc.)in that book have the same characteristics,which are large-scale and culturally required with explicit and well-designed strategies to guide designers(artists)in large-scale creation.Therefore,the modularization of the ancient Chinese has been used as a theoretical basis for the analysis of modern architectural designIn this paper,using the empirical study and comparative study method,from three aspects scholars,users,designers,the main building of zhoushan and yuquan campus module carding and comparison,and by the architect users interviews and questionnaire survey of architectural design and operation experience of both cognitive compare analysis.On this basis,the feasibility of modular design strategy in response to architectural context inheritance has been verified,and its specific operation control has been further clarified,so as to provide objectives,approaches and control rules for the formation of modular design strategy guidelines in response to architectural context inheritance.
