The polar region has been valued more because of the opening of the Arctic Sea Route.The widespread concern has been aroused on the safety of polar ships navigation,and more and more importance has been attached to the problem of ship ice load.What’s more,the influence factors of ice floes failure and the ice load are studied by the discrete element method.In the discrete element numerical simulation,the study of the influence of mesoscopic parameters on macroscopic mechanical behavior is the key to solve the engineering problems reasonably.In this paper,the influence of meso-parameters of strength and stiffness on the macroscopic mechanical behavior in the parallel-bond model was analyzed.By using the central composite design method of response-surface method,numerical experiments under different combinations of meso-parameters were carried out,and the influence of each meso-parameter on macro-mechanical response is comprehensively considered.After that,the trial calculation-error correction method is used to accurately check the meso-parameters of the discrete element based on the two basic ice mechanics tests of uniaxial compression and three-point bending.The simplified ice floes model,several groups of numerical simulation of sea ice extrusion failure are carried out based on the influencing factors such as ice floes thickness,loading velocity and different working conditions,and the simplified ice floes model is also adopted,based on the influence factors of ice floes thickness,loading velocity,loading area and geometric characteristics of the ice floes model,several groups of numerical simulation of sea ice bending failure are completed.The propagation of cracks under different failure modes and its influence on the ice load are analyzed.The ice floes model is constructed by random arrangement of particles,and the XueLong is used as the model to study the ice load in the process of ship ice action,analyze the ice load curve in specific areas,and draw the ice load cloud map.The changes of ice resistance and the ice load under different factors were analyzed by tuning the thickness and loading velocity of sea ice.
