With the development of CFD theory and CFD simulation software,CFD visual simulation is more and more popular in academic and industrial fields.In this paper,the 3D visual simulation of butterfly valve is studied.The standard butterfly with diameter of 1000mm is taken as the research object,combined with the related theory of computational fluid dynamics,numerical simulation method is used to simulation of flow field in straight pipe by using professional fluid analysis software and grid technology,the driving torque characteristic curve of the valve plate is obtained,found when the valve plate angle is very small the vortex will be generated,and the smaller the angler,the more obvious vortex.In order to reduce the vortex when small opening in the valve plate and improvement of valve plate driving torque characteristics of valve plate rotation.the structure of the pipeline and the butterfly valve are improved,After comparison,two better structures are obtained,And further in-depth study of the two kinds of structure.get some laws.The main work is as follows:(1)Understand the classification of the control valve,and analyzed the research significance of the butterfly valve.briefly introduced the research status of the CFD simulation of the butterfly valve and the valve flow field.(2)Describes the related theory of computational fluid dynamics and fluid control basic equations,The butterfly valve is installed in the straight pipe for reasonable simplification,and discuss the fluid simulation assumptions are presented.The flow field analysis software FLUENT and the meshing software ICEMCFD are introduced briefly,according to the simulation of the three-dimensional flow field of the valve plate under different opening conditions,the flow field variation in the pipeline and the characteristic curve of the valve plate driving torque are obtained.(3)Explores the ways to reduce the vortex generated when the butterfly valve in the small open degree.According to the causes of the vortex,We designed various kinds of structure.The effect of each structure on the vortex elimination is also discussed.Two of the best structures for reducing the whirlpool effect were selected for further study.(4)Through three-dimensional simulation obtained three-dimensional flow field simulation and valve drive torque with different opening when the butterfly valve is installed in a symmetrical converging and diverging tube.And compared with the property of the butterfly valve installed on the straight pipe.The effects of L0 and ? on the flow field and the driving torque of the deflector are investigated.(5)When the internal valve is fully open in double control butterfly valve.through the three-dimensional simulation we get Three-dimensional flow field simulation in the pipeline and the driving torque of the double-control butterfly valve with the outside valve at different degrees.And compared with the characteri stics of the standard butterfly valve.Explore the effect of Do on the driving torque.Finally,the research contents are summarized,and the further research of this subject is prospected.
