Open type non pneumatic tire is a new type of tire,which has the advantages of wear resistance,explosion-proof,good elasticity,small rolling resistance and so on.When the tire is driving at high speed,because of the open wheel cavity structure,the turbulent motion near the wheel cavity is violent,which not only affects the aerodynamic characteristics of the tire,but also produces strong noise.In this paper,the aerodynamic characteristics and aerodynamic noise of the open non pneumatic tire are studied,which provides a theoretical basis for its drag reduction and noise reduction control.In this paper,the finite element model and the flow field of open non pneumatic tire are established.According to the CFD fluid dynamics method,the steady-state(realizable K-?turbulence model)and transient(LES large eddy model)simulation of tire aerodynamic characteristics and aerodynamic noise are carried out by FLUENT software.In this paper,the influence of the structure of open non pneumatic tire on its aerodynamic characteristics and aerodynamic noise is studied,and the far-field aerodynamic noise of tire is monitored by using the fowcs Williams Hawkings equation.ABAQUS software is used to analyze the load deformation of tire under various structural parameters,and the radial displacement of tire is an important mechanical performance reference standard for tire drag reduction and noise reduction.The structure of open type non pneumatic tire has obvious influence on aerodynamic coefficient and aerodynamic noise.In this paper,the influence of tire width,spoke structure(including length,thickness,cuvature,deflection rate,segmented arrangement),tire pattern and rim on tire aerodynamic characteristics and noise is studied in turn,and the change of tire radial displacement under some structural factors is analyzed.The simulation results show that reducing tire width,reducing spoke length and increasing spoke thickness can effectively reduce aerodynamic coefficient;reducing tire width and increasing spoke segment number are of great help to tire noise reduction;reducing spoke length and increasing spoke thickness can improve tire load-carrying performance.The contribution of spoke curvature and spoke offset to drag reduction and noise reduction is very low.Increasing the longitudinal tread pattern can reduce the tire resistance.The wheel rim makes the aerodynamic coefficient and noise of tire increase.Then,this paper studies the influence of running speed on tire aerodynamic performance and tire on vehicle aerodynamic performance.The results show that the greater the wind speed is,the greater the drag and noise are,but the increase of aerodynamic coefficient is not obvious.The wind tunnel test results can verify this phenomenon.The open non pneumatic tire increases the resistance of the whole vehicle obviously,and 63.1%of the wheel resistance and 65.79%of the lift are provided by the front wheel.Based on the qualitative analysis of the structural parameters of the open non pneumatic tire,this paper presents a control optimization scheme of tire drag reduction and noise reduction,and selects the optimization model H.Compared with the original model,it is proved that model h achieves the optimization effect.At the same time,the wind tunnel experiment is carried out in this paper.Through the analysis of the experimental results of wind speed and wind direction angle,the reliability of tire simulation results and the feasibility of tire drag reduction and noise reduction control methods are verified.
