Study On Pavement Performance And Durability Of Plasticized Asphalt And Mixture

Pavement cracking often occurs due to low temperature in northern China.In order to solve this problem,DOP plasticizers are added to different asphalts to improve the low temperature performance of asphalt and the low temperature crack resistance of asphalt mixtures.Improved.In recent years,the traffic volume in our country has been increasing,and the heavy and overloaded traffic conditions have become more and more serious.Therefore,people have higher requirements for asphalt pavement in terms of comfort,safety and durability.The research on road performance and durability is particularly important.In order to further study the road performance and durability of plasticized asphalt(mixture),under the conditions of "equal penetration" and "equal ductility",the optimal amount of plasticizer was first determined,and then Under the optimal amount of plasticizer,the road performance and durability of different plasticized asphalts and asphalt mixtures were compared and studied.A total of six types of asphalt(4%SBS/3%DOP90#,4%SBR/2%DOP90#,90#matrix,110#aging(5h),4%SBS110#,4%SBR110#),six types of asphalt(2%DOP90#,3.0%PE/3.5%DOP,3.0%Sasobit/3.5%DOP,110#matrix,4%SBS,1%SBR)are used as the "equal ductility" conditions As for the binder of the asphalt mixture,the AC-13 gradation method was used for the asphalt mixture in this test.The pavement performance of plasticized asphalt is evaluated by three major index tests of asphalt and 135℃ viscosity test index;the durability of plasticized asphalt is evaluated by asphalt aging durability test,and the aging durability of asphalt is evaluated according to the change range(absolute value)of each index.The road performance of plasticized asphalt mixture is evaluated according to dynamic stability,bending strain,TSR and other indexes;the durability of plasticized asphalt mixture is evaluated according to three durability tests of asphalt mixture aging,plastic change accumulation and fatigue,among which the aging durability test of asphalt mixture includes high temperature rut test,low temperature small beam bending test and water stability test.The test results have certain reference value for the study of modified asphalt.
