Rotating equipment is widely used in the chemical industry.The accurate judgment and treatment of the operation fault of the rotating equipment is beneficial to the long-term safe and stable operation of the chemical equipment.Unbalance fault is one of the most common faults in the operation of rotating equipment,mostly caused by rotor mass imbalance.Based on this,the mechanism and fault characteristics of rotor mass imbalance were discussed in detail,the balance principle and balance method as well as the vibration evaluation standard of rotor operation were introduced,and the above theory were applied to engineering practice.For the typical rotating equipment in chemical process,such as multiple steam turbine generator sets,primary fan,feed water pumps,etc.,the vibration waveforms and spectrograms were used to comprehensively analyze the cause of the fault,and the above balance methods were used for analysis and calculation.Finally,the effectiveness of the dynamic balancing method was verified through the field practice.Aiming at the problem of sudden jump in the operation of a low-pressure steam condensate pump,under the premise of eliminating the mechanical failure of the motor and the pump,the three-dimensional modeling was used to simulate and analyze the flow field characteristics of the inner flow component of the pump,and the reduction was proposed.The impeller diameter is a solution to optimize the internal flow field condition and thereby increase the efficiency of the pump.Combined with the impeller cutting formula of the low specific speed pump,the impeller of the faulty machine was cut,and the actual verification effect on the field was good,which had practical significance for solving the pump failure caused by this working condition.
