With the maturity of artificial intelligence and information technology,more and more unmanned equipment takes the place of manned equipment to perform dangerous tasks.As a new type of water equipment,unmanned surface vessel(USV)usually undertakes the tasks of surveying,reconnaissance,collecting information and rescuing in harsh waters.Therefore,there is an increasing demand for unmanned surface vessel and a higher requirement for its performance.Unmanned surface vessel need the ability to work in high sea conditions and survive in harsh sea conditions.Therefore,seakeeping and self-centering capability become more and more important for USV design.Automatic optimization design can reduce the workload and design cost of designers.Ship designers in various countries are constantly exploring the application of automatic optimization methods in unmanned ship design.Therefore,this paper studies the automatic optimization design method of mono-unmanned surface vessel with self-righting ability.In this paper,the automatic optimization of the USV is realized through the secondary development and integrated call of the relevant software.The key technologies such as the self-righting ability of the USV,the hydrodynamic simulation under high sea conditions,the solution strategy of the optimization model and so on are discussed and analyzed.The main contents are as follows: first,after analyzing the realization method of the self righting ability of the USV,the self righting deck is selected to realize the self righting ability.The automatic optimization design of the deck part is different from the automatic optimization design of the hull part,so the automatic optimization of the USV and the self-righting deck of the USV is realized separately in this paper.First,the automatic optimization design of the USV is carried out,and then the self-righting deck of the USV is optimized based on the optimized USV design.The automatic optimization method of USV is based on ISIGHT software.NXUG is used for parametric modeling,STARCCM is used for evaluation of model seakeeping,EXCEL is used for post-processing of STARCCM calculation results,and using ISIGHT software to integrate NXUG,STARCCM and EXCEL through simcode module and realize automatic operation.The numerical simulation method of model seakeeping is studied,and the overlapping grid is used to evaluate the seakeeping of USV,then the accuracy of the numerical simulation method is verified based on the experimental data.Taking the minimum pitching angle,the minimum vertical acceleration at the center of gravity and the minimum wave resistance as the optimization objectives,the optimization model is constructed,and using combination optimization strategy to solve the optimization model.The USV self-righting deck is designed on the optimal USV with automatic optimization of USV.The automatic optimization method for self-aligning deck of USV is also based on ISIGHT software.MAXSURF software is redeveloped by EXCEL to realize automatic operation of MAXSURF MODELER and MAXSURF STABILITY,then integrate them into ISIGHT.At the same time,analyze existing self-righting design.Put forward the design method of self-righting deck.The deck of unmanned craft is optimized with the objectives of deck wind resistance and large inclination stability,and the optimal deck shape design is obtained.Finally,The optimization model is constructed by taking the deck wind resistance and the average value of the righting arm at 90-100 ° and 170-180 ° heel angles as the optimization objectives,and the optimization model is solved by using the combined optimization strategy.The shape optimization of self-righting deck for a 7m USV is taken as an example to verify the effectiveness of the design method and optimization process.The proposed method provides a solution for the automatic optimal design of selfrighting deck of different types of USV.Generally speaking,this paper focuses on the research of the automatic optimization design method of USV with self-righting ability,and puts forward the automatic optimization design method of the USV,the automatic optimization design method of the self-righting deck of the USV and the automatic optimization method of the self-righting USV.The effectiveness and feasibility of the automatic optimization method are verified by the optimization of a 7m level USV.The combination optimization strategy is used to solve the optimization model,and the efficiency of the combination optimization method is verified by comparing with other algorithms.It provides a reference for the design of self-supporting deck and the automatic optimization design of self-supporting unmanned boat.
