Permanent magnet synchronous motor(PMSM)is popular in various industrial occasions because of its high power density,fast dynamic response.In order to achieve high-precision and fast dynamic control of PMSM,parameters identification is necessary.Among the various parameters,the moment of inertia of the speed loop control has an impact on the PMSM control system.When the moment of inertia becomes large,the system regulation time increases and the dynamic performance becomes poor;when the moment of inertia decreases,the system will oscillate.At present,the extended Kalman filter(EKF)is good for high accuracy because of considering the influence of system noise and measurement noise.It is an effective method to identify the moment of inertia online.Therefore,based on the extended Kalman filter method,this paper studies the identification method of the moment of inertia of PMSM.In this paper,firstly,the model of the PMSM is built and then the principle of vector control of PMSM is introduced in detail.The self-tuning principle of PI controller parameters of speed loop based on model method and engineering tuning method is introduced.This paper establishes moment of inertia identification of PMSM based on discrete extended Kalman filter and applies it to the rotor field orientation control system of PMSM,and the specific identification expression of PMSM inertia based on EKF method is obtained.Thirdly,this paper analyzes the shortcomings of EKF,and brings forward the identification method of PMSM's inertia based on adaptive extended Kalman filter(AEKF).On the basis of the built-in mechanical equation of PMSM,the corresponding state variables are selected and the state equation is constructed,so the identification method of inertia based on adaptive extended Kalman filter is constructed.The real-time inertia is introduced into speed loop,and the speed controller of the PMSM based on the adaptive extended Kalman filter is builtFinally,on the basis of theoretical analysis,the vector control system of permanent magnet synchronous motor moment of inertia identification based on EKF and AEKF is simulated and tested.The simulation and experimental results show that the identification method of moment of inertia based on AEKF proposed in this paper can effectively enhance the adaptability of PMSM vector control system to the variable operating conditions,and improve the steady-state and dynamic performance of PMSM vector control system under various operating conditions.
