China is rich in water resources,but the distribution is uneven,mainly concentrated in southwest China,but this region belongs to the high seismic intensity area,hydropower project site selection is difficult to avoid,plant seismic safety has been seriously threatened.And seismic vulnerability analysis from the Angle of probability,the seismic safety of structure performance,from a macro point of view to describe the size of the ground motion intensity and structure of the relationship between the extent of damage.In this paper,the seismic time-history method is used to study the applicability and effectiveness of this method in seismic design of hydropower stations.The main conclusions include:(1)Based on the principle of seismic time history,according to our country's seismic design of hydraulic specification artificial seismic acceleration was synthesized and used in the workshop structure,explores the method of seismic time history in the applicability of the hydropower station powerhouse structure seismic analysis.Compared with the commonly used incremental dynamic analysis methods,two methods of structural response although appeared certain discreteness,but both results are very close,and the seismic time history method 4 times can be obtained with incremental dynamic analysis 70 similar results,greatly improving the calculation efficiency.(2)T he seismic time history method is adopted to factory building structure,the nonlinear seismic response analysis to verify the method in the seismic design of hydropower plant is effective.Respectively from plant concrete structure damage,damage evolution rule and the structure of the cumulative,pressure damage,either upstream or downstream wall bracket along the river to the relative displacement,the workshop dynamic stress of concrete structure,the concrete beam,column principal stress,the steel rack of principal stress of the roof in seismic time history method in the aspects of structure of hydropower plant was analyzed,and the effectiveness of the application to verify the seismic time history method for seismic response of the hydropower station powerhouse structure prediction is effective.(3)Combining the seismic time-history analysis method with the seismic vulnerability of the structure,the steps for the structural vulnerability analysis of hydropower station powerhouse based on the seismic time-history analysis method are given,and the vulnerability analysis of a real powerhouse structure is carried out.Compared with incremental dynamic analysis to establish vulnerability curve,based on the seismic time history method to establish the vulnerability curve under the limit state of the change trend of basic consistent,but as the destruction of the hydropower station powerhouse structure limit state,seismic time history method to establish the vulnerability curve was bigger,the same failure probability under ground motion intensity increased,indicating that the response of the structure under seismic time history method is more intense.
