Aviation materials are the parts that need to be replaced during aircraft maintenance and repair by airlines or aircraft maintenance workshop.They are the key factors to ensure flight safety and punctuality.As the airlines with the largest fleet and the most developed route network in China,N Airlines has the problems of single classification mode and low enforceability of reserve strategy in aviation materials management.The lack of scientific management means leads to the excessive reserve of aviation materials,which further increases the operating costs of airlines.This thesis conducts research on the above issues,and the main research contents are as follows:This thesis summarizes and analyzes researches at home and abroad about theory and model of aviation material inventory management,classification of aviation material inventory and optimization strategy of aviation material inventory.The goal of this research is to establish a systematic index system and a universally applicable classification method for aviation materials,and to develop reserve strategies and quantitative reserve models for different categories of aviation materials.This thesis make theoretical research on the basic theories and methods of inventory management and inventory strategy,the definition and traditional classification methods of aviation materials,performance evaluation indexes of aviation materials management,demand characteristics and types of aviation materials,and characteristics of aviation materials inventory management.And it is applied in the establishment part of the aviation material inventory classification model of N airlines.In this thesis,Syntetos aviation material demand classification scheme is applied to demonstrate the regularity of aviation materials in terms of demand time and demand quantity.Aviation materials are divided into four categories: flat type demand,random type demand,intermittent type demand and block type demand.This classification method can only reflect the internal factors that affect the level of aviation materials security.In order to reflect the external factors affecting the level of aviation material support,a Kaljack matrix was introduced to identify the importance degree and supply risk of aviation materials,and aviation materials were divided into four categories: strategic materials,bottleneck materials,lever materials and conventional materials.This thesis innovatively combines the two classification methods to obtain the comprehensive classification result of aviation material inventory,which can overcome the one-sidedness of single classification method and completely describe the comprehensive performance of aviation material in variousdimensions.Combined with the actual operation data of N Airlines,Boeing B737 model is taken as an example to conduct comprehensive classification and analysis of aviation materials.Based on the comprehensive classification results of aviation material inventory combined with the aviation material demand classification model and the Kaljack classification model,the thesis redesigned the various aviation material reserve strategies of N Airlines,established a quantitative reserve model suitable for N Airlines,and selected representative aviation material items for example analysis.Finally,the inventory level and management efficiency of the optimized reserve plan and the original reserve plan are analyzed and compared in detail,and it is verified that the performance of the optimized reserve plan in terms of aviation material guarantee rate,aviation material inventory and turnover rate is significantly improved.
