Application Of Traditional Regional Culture In Rural Landscape Design

Village,as the earliest form of human inhabit region,has been the carrier of human production,living and civilization,and has seen the prosperity and development of human civilization.In recent years,rural tourism has become a focal point of development in rural area and hot topic of rural planning.Therefore,regional culture,being one of the most important part of rural civilization,stands a high place in rural civilization and tourism planning.However,resemblance of countryside scenery,lack of distinguishing feature,and lack of cultural consciousness have been longstanding problems in our rural planning due to the ignorance of rural cultural construction during rural development and the impact of industrialization,urbanization,and modernism in contemporary era,which causes the fading,descending and even vanish of regional culture.Accordingly,rural planning has a strong need of abundant culture feature to make specific development,and regional culture has to be protected,promoted and inherited with the help of rural tourism.Thus,it is a subject with high valve and meaning to seek for scientific strategies for rural culture protection,form a evaluating system for culture resources,and search for a compete method of rural planning from culture resources survey to application of culture element.Based on the rural tourism poverty alleviation policy and the background above,this paper works for the theory of research,protection and application of traditional regional culture in rural landscape planning,and the construction of culture evaluating system.Besides,we also did case practice.Writer completed the project by using methods of abundant paper reading,field investigation,questionnaire survey and contrast and comparative analysis.In the first and second chapter,the paper analysis the development background of regional culture in rural construction and tourism planning,as well as the present situation of rural culture construction based on abundant reference and paper reading and studding.And then the paper classified the traditional cultural village planning pattern into three types: planning pattern of water town in southern China,planning pattern of ethnic town and planning pattern of historic town based on the on-the-spot investigation of current classic cultural town.Besides,the paper also concluded the category and feature of traditional culture.In addition,the paper recommended FAHP and fuzzy analytic process as the method to evaluate and screen culture resources,through which we can come out with the range of importance of each traditional culture feature by structuring culture evaluation system,and decide the key point and orientation of rural cultural planning.In the third and fourth chapter,the paper continued with abstraction and application of traditional culture element,in which we concluded the type of cultural landscape element based respectively on different hierarchy of landscape planning and different feature of landscape element.At the same time,the paper induced nine means of expression: display,exaggeration,citation etc.and put forward particular method and strategies of traditional regional culture application,which provided theory basis for rural tourism planning and application of traditional culture in rural landscape planning,as well as construction of complete rural protective planning process and method from the investigation of cultural resources to the final application of cultural element.In the fifth chapter,the paper took the planning of Dadi village,Xinshao as example,using theory claimed above to investigate and evaluate the traditional local culture,and make the landscape planning for the village.In the final chapter,the paper concluded the outcome of the project study and made prospect of rural traditional culture planning in the future.
