Based on the theory of thermal elastohydrodynamic lubrication with grease lubrication,this paper takes deep groove ball bearing as the research object.Through the analysis of thermal elastohydrodynamic lubrication and finite element analysis of its point contact under grease lubrication,the factors affecting the working performance of the bearing and its fatigue life are studied,and the working performance of deep groove ball bearing under grease lubrication is discussed.Firstly,according to the working condition of deep groove ball bearing,the paper analyzes and calculates its internal load and the speed of inner ring,outer ring and cage.Then,based on the calculation of the load and speed parameters of the deep groove ball bearing and the actual working conditions,the mathematical model of the elastohydrodynamic lubrication of the deep groove ball bearing is established,and the mathematical model is treated in a dimensional way.The pressure and film thickness distribution of the deep groove ball bearing under the condition of exponential rate grease lubrication are obtained by the numerical calculation method.The effects of the rheological index,the maximum Hertz contact pressure and the inner ring speed on the lubrication performance of the bearing are discussed.The results show that the grease with relatively small rheological index should be selected under the condition of low speed and heavy load.Finally,the influence of grease,viscosity and rheological index on the fatigue life of deep groove ball bearing is discussed by using the finite element method.Theoretical analysis and finite element simulation show that:1.Compared with non lubricated deep groove ball bearing,lubricated ball bearing has higher life;2.The viscosity of lubricating grease should be appropriate,too high or too low viscosity will lead to the decline of service life of deep groove ball bearing;3.The service life of deep groove ball bearing can be improved by properly reducing the rheological index of lubricating grease.
