Light armored vehicles are under threats of 53-type 7.62 mm armor-piercing incendiary?API?.Based on the existing research of the anti-eroding performance and mechanism of ceramic composite armor,the anti-eroding performance and application research of new ceramic composite armor were carried out,which provided the basis for the application of new ceramic composite armor in the field of armor protection.The mainly studies as follow were carried out:1.The penetration experiments of 53-type 7.62 mm API were carried out,and the movable target with split back plate was determined as the integral structure of the new ceramic composite armor.The results show that when the projectile penetrates eccentrically,the movable panel with split back can provide asymmetrical force to deflect the projectile core.The surface density of the target plate can be reduced to 46.26 kg/m2.2.Comparing the influence of squares of paratactic configuration,squares of staggered configuration and hexagonal splicing on the anti-eroding performance,SBS resin solvents adhesive?D401?has better comprehensive bonding performance.The stability of the application of bonding and installation technology in armor was studied,and the proportion of the bonding area N0 of the new ceramic composite armor was gained which satisfied the requirements of anti-2-attack and anti-3-attack stability.3.Based on penetration test,ANSYS/LS-DYNA program was used to study the anti-bullet mechanism of new ceramic composite armor,and the effects of impact point and movable panel thickness matching on the anti-bullet performance of armor were analyzed.At the same time,the influence of joint size on the anti-three-hit performance of movable target in hexagonal splicing was studied.The results show that when the bullet erodes the target eccentrically,the interaction time between the composite panel and projectile of the movable panel,the energy dissipation of the movable panel and the yaw angle of the projectile of the movable targets are all greater than those of the composite panel with integral backplane and the fixed target,and the defending effect is the best.The joint size of the hexagonal panel can be selected in the range of 0.4?0.6 mm to obtain good anti-mulit-hit ability.
