Buckling restrained bracing can ensure the safety of structures,however,after the earthquake easy to produce a larger deformation,when the radio of the deformation more than 0.5%,repair costs will be greater than the reconstruction costs.self-centering buckling restrained braces can effectively reduce the deformation of the structure.Due to the elastic properties of the centering material,it can be used many times,but the energy-consuming device can be used without replacement after few earthquakes.So in order to restore its use function can only replace the brace,which will undoubtedly increase the cost of repair.In view of the above problems,the main contents of this paper are as follows:(1)A new type of replaceable self-centering buckling restrained bracing with disc spring is presented.The bracing has good centering ability and energy dissipation ability,and easy to disassemble and repair after earthquake.According to the change of the brace stiffness,the restoring force equation of the brace is given.(2)ABAQUS finite element software was used to establish the precise finite element model to improve the finite element modeling method of composite disc spring.The hysteretic model of the bracing is established in MATLAB software according to the hysteretic equation of the bracing,and the hysteretic performance of the bracing is analyzed with parameters:The influence of three design parameters of stiffness ratio,reduction ratio and yield displacement ratio on energy dissipation capacity,centering capacity,restoring capacity and bearing capacity of bracing are analyzed.Finally,some suggestions on the selection of three design parameters for the brace performance are proposed.(3)ABAQUS finite element software is used to analyze the nonlinear time history of the simplified models of self-centering brace frame and buckling-restrained brace frame under repeated and rare earthquake,the seismic behavior of two kinds of braced frames is compared with each other by taking the deformation radio,the maximum Story drift ratio radio ratio and the shear force at the column bottom as evaluation indexes.Nonlinear time history analysis of six-story steel frame with self-centering braces under rare earthquake action using ABAQUS finite element software,the influence of bracing stiffness ratio,reduction ratio and yield displacement ratio on deformation radio,maximum Story drift ratio radio and column bottom shear force of are analyzed.Finally,the three design parameters for theperformance of the braced frame are suggested.
