In recent years,the rapid construction and use of high-speed trains have injected new vitality into the economy of various countries,but at the same time,Snow accumulation in bogie region of high-speed trains is a new problem that trains in snowy regions all over the world have to face.A large amount of snow in the bogie area may cause the change of the aerodynamic shape of the train,which may cause additional force or wind vibration effect.Besides,the snow on the important parts of the bogie may cause the parts to not work normally,which seriously threatens the safety of the train operation.In this paper,based on the investigation of relevant studies at home and abroad,the improvement of many experiments and simulations based on the existing studies,as well as the expl oration of relevant measures to reduce and prevent snow were proposed.First of all,this paper utilized the cube and cylinder models to carry out the snow covering experiment.Considering the shape characteristics and flow field characteristics of the bogie parts,the two basic models were designed,and the snow covering experiment was carried out with real snow particles in the low-temperature,low-speed and direct current wind tunnel in winter of Harbin,in order to study the snow covering distribution feature on the two basic models.Secondly,simulation of the snow covering on the basic models under the same conditions was studied,by using discrete phase model.The related key parameters were determined by comparing test results and simulation results.and then,by using the determined the snow-covering simulation on this scheme,the snow covering parameters analysis based on sphere model analysis was studied,to explore how the two key factors,the wind speed and direction angle,influenced snow cover on the model.Finally,the simulation of the bogie and the whole train were carried out.The snow covering characteristics of the bogie and the whole train were given.And analyzed the comparison of the simulation result and the actual measurement result to provide basis to snow reduction and prevention.And the snow reduction and prevention measures in bogie area were explored,and the simulation results of the snow reduction and prevention measures and the snow reduction mechanism were given,which proved the effectiveness of the proposed measures.
