In recent years,the bridge span is increasing gradually,which makes the bridge more sensitive to the wind load,which puts forward higher requirements for the wind-resistant characteristics of the bridge.As one of the important auxiliary structures of Bridges,pylons are prone to vortex-induced vibration and fatigue failure under wind load,which will leave serious safety hazards in the process of bridge use.Therefore,how to reduce the vortex-induced vibration of bridge tower structure has important engineering significance.A novel active suction and blow flow control method is proposed to suppress the vortex-induced vibration of bridge towers in this paper.The air inlet and the air outlet of the square cylinder are used to disturb the flow field around the square cylinder,and the flow pattern is improved by controlling the wake oscillation in the wake area,so as to achieve the purpose of flow control.The aerodynamic influence of inlet and air blowing rates on the on the windward side under the condition of Re=22000 is numerically calculated by CFD.On this basis,the optimal size of the stoma at the optimal suction and blow rate is calculated.Secondly,the aerodynamic influence of inlet and air blowing rate on the leeward side is analyzed.The optimum pore size at the optimum rate was also obtained.Then,under the optimal combination of the parameters such as corner opening position,suction and blow rate,and stomatal size,the stomatal spreading spacing was studied,and the stomatal spreading spacing effect of square column was explored to obtain the best spread spacing of stomatal.The new active control method of side Angle suction and blow of square column can achieve good flow control effect.Under the optimal conditions of stomatal arrangement,suction and blow rate,stomatal size and stomatal span,the lift pulsation value on the surface of square cylinder can be reduced by more than 98%,and the average resistance can also be reduced by about 50%.
