In recent years, with the vigorous development of new clean energy in China, the development of offshore wind energy has become an interesting topic for domestic experts and scholars. The research on the design and dynamic response of floating offshore wind turbines is an important research area for people to study. In order to study the effect of the gyroscopic effect on the floating offshore wind turbine, the DTU 10 MW wind turbine was selected as the research object, and the floating platform was selected as the ITI Energy Barge platform.By establishing an equivalent model using ANSYS software, simulate the working state of the floating offshore wind turbine, and conduct a modal analysis on the offshore floating offshore wind turbine to determine the natural frequency and its vibration mode to effectively avoid the phenomenon of resonance. At the same time, the critical speed of the Campbell diagram is determined, which affirms the rationality of the actual working speed of the wheel.According to the actual working state of the floating offshore wind turbine, the transient dynamic analysis of the wind turbine is performed.By comparing the maximum displacement point of the tower in the working state and the non-working state, and the maximum Von Mises Stress in the top and bottom sections of the tower, the motion and mechanical response of the gyroscopic torque caused by the gyro effect to the floating offshore wind turbine are studied. At the same time,it can determine the strength of the hazardous area.In addition, for the case of different pitch ranges, the stress situation of the top and bottom nodes of the tower is analyzed emphatically.Compared with the non-working state,it can study the influencing factors of the gyroscopic effect when the wind turbine is working.By studying the gyroscopic effect of the floating offshore wind turbine, the results show that the gyro torque produced by the floating offshore wind turbine under working conditions will have an impact on movement and stress. However, this effect is very small. Its impact on the maximum strength at the bottom of the tower is less than 1%,and the maximum displacement at the top of the tower is about 0.5%.And it is negligible under the condition of not paying too much attention to its movement and stress. This study provides a new way of thinking for staff who want to study the gyroscopic effect in the future, and provides a reference for solving similar engineering problems.
