| In recent years,with the rapid development of the society economy of China,the shortcircuit currents of the three major load centers have exceeded the standard,which seriously affects the safety and stability of the power grid.As one of the effective measures to limit the fault current,the fault current limiter has been widely concerned by the industry.In this paper,the electromagnetic transient simulation analysis and finite element simulation analysis are carried out for the 500 k V fault current limiter based on the high coupled split reactor(HCSR),and the insulation level and structure layout design of each component of the fault current limiter are proposed.First of all,according to the grid structure,operation mode,fault current limiter structure and parameters of the system,the overvoltage simulation model is established based on PSCAD / EMTDC electromagnetic transient simulation platform,and the electromagnetic field analysis model of the fault current limiter is established based on ANSYS finite element simulation platform.Then,the typical internal over-voltage condition of the fault current limiter is analyzed,the influence of the fault current limiter connection on the main circuit breaker is studied,and the protection measures of the parallel capacitance between the terminals of each module of the fault current limiter are proposed.The research shows that the overvoltage of each component of the three-phase grounding fault is the most serious and occurs when the main circuit breaker is opened or the quick switch is opened.Next,the simulation study of the lightning introduced overvoltage of each component of the fault current limiter and the equipment in the station after the the fault current limiter is connected is carried out.The simulation results show that the fault current limiter has no effect on the insulation level of the equipment in GN station,and the parallel capacitance between the ends of the fault current limiter and the number of surge arrester columns at the inlet of the fault current limiter can effectively reduce the lightning overvoltage level of each equipment,and the insulation level of each component of the fault current limiter is proposed.Finally,the space layout of the fault current limiter is calculated and proposed,and the electric field distribution characteristics of each component of the fault current limiter are calculated based on the finite element method.The results of the electric field calculation verify the rationality of the space layout design of the fault current limiter. |
