Stainless steel car body is a mainstream type of rail transportation vehicles.Because its main body is mainly made of stainless steel,its corrosion resistance is extremely superior.Since the outer surface of the car body does not need to adopt other technical measures such as painting,it is environmentally friendly and energy-saving.At present,the production and manufacturing of stainless steel car bodies are mainly in a modular manner.First,each structural module is manufactured separately,and then the overall assembly welding is performed.Among them,the side wall module is one of the four major components of the stainless steel car body,which has the characteristics of multiple structures and large width.At present,the side wall module is generally prefabricated with various profiles and then assembled and welded together.Not only the process is complex,but also the production efficiency is low,and the welding quality cannot be guaranteed.With the intensification of market competition and the continuous development of welding technology,laser welding has begun to appear in the welding of stainless steel car bodies.Therefore,this article is mainly aimed at the actual needs of the laser welding process of the stainless steel car body side wall module,designing the prefabricated side wall profile structure,and studying its laser welding process.The stainless steel car body side wall profile structure designed in this paper is composed of outer plate,inner plate and corrugated plate,which are connected by laser lap welding.The dimensions of corrugated plate include angle,peak width,height and other dimensions.In this paper,using the method of controlling variables,based on the reference corrugated plate as the size basis,the simulation software HyperMesh is used to solve the bending stiffness and torsional stiffness,and finally the optimized corrugated plate with greatly increased bending stiffness and torsional stiffness is obtained.Simultaneously,using simulation methods,the spacing between the corrugated plates in the stainless steel modules was determined,and the assembly structure between the modules was designed.In response to the development needs of the welding process,this paper used the special welding software Simufact.Welding to numerically simulate the laser welding of the entire stainless steel profile module.The results of the study showed that the maximum equivalent stress and deformation of the model after welding were not much different,which was mainly due to the use of the heat cycle table(heat was applied to the weld at the same time)and the setting of tooling to control the welding deformation.At the same time,this article also analyzed the cross-section of the middle weld of the full penetration welded joint and part of the penetration welded joint residual stress and deformation at the intermediate corrugated plate.The process conditions causing this result were analyzed and optimized.Through the above research,this paper provides data reference for the structural design and welding process of prefabricated profiles of stainless steel side wall,which has certain theoretical guiding significance and use value.
