One of the most important technical means of seismic isolation is to reduce the direct energy consumption of the structure by installing energy-consuming components.Therefore,the damper has been widely used as an additive material or component.At present,researchers in various countries are trying to explore the super-elastic properties of shape memory alloy(SMA)and apply it to earthquake resistance.On the energy dissipation component,shape memory alloy is a new type of metal material with peculiar functions.Its peculiarity lies in its memory function.The main research content of this article is the application of SMA in buckling brace restraint(BRB).This structure is a typical energy dissipation and shock absorption structure.Its principle is that the core material at the core position bears the axial stress generated by the earthquake.It will yield before the structure,which will effectively consume the energy generated during the earthquake.The main research contents are as follows:(1)Through the mechanical experiment of SMA,study its energy dissipation under constant strain amplitude variable loading frequency and constant loading frequency variable strain amplitude,summarize the influence of strain amplitude and loading frequency on its energy consumption,and demonstrate its self Reset capability.Choose the appropriate constitutive relationship for SMA.(2)Use ABAQUS to establish a buckling-constrained support model,and add SMA materials to the design,and simulate the designed support model in ABAQUS to obtain relevant data on energy consumption.The stiffness coefficient,mass and other data of each direction are obtained and imported into MIDAS for seismic analysis.And analysis of calculation examples.(3)The use of Midas to build a double-row pier simply supported beam bridge.In this article,the time history analysis method will be used to analyze the bridge and each pier under the E1 and E2 earthquakes,and the effect will be compared.The analysis includes the time-history diagram of the bending moment of each pier pier bottom,thetime-history diagram of the shear force of each pier pier top,and the maximum displacement of the pier top and the beam bottom.So as to verify the energy consumption capacity of the new type of support.
