Due to the importance of power cables in the power system,power companies have invested a lot of manpower and material resources in the inspection and disposal of cable faults.However,with the continuous expansion of the power system,the manual inspection work mode cannot well meet the requirements of a wide range of power cable geographic layout and high operational reliability standards.Therefore,power companies need to develop and deploy tools or systems that can perform remote automated fault location monitoring through information technology.In this thesis,a power cable fault location monitoring system is designed and implemented in detail,using reasonable and reliable monitoring devices for on-site deployment,and using Java Web technology to design and develop the system's software services to achieve the company's expected goals.In the specific research work,first of all,the system's related technology and electrical principles were briefly introduced.Secondly,the business background and overall goals of the system are investigated,and the hardware requirements,data communication requirements,Web service requirements,and performance requirements of the system are proposed.Third,based on the system's needs analysis,the system is designed in summary,the system's network topology and software function model are designed from an overall perspective,and the database's technical solutions are investigated.Fourth,according to the system hardware,data communication and software function division,the system hardware topology structure is designed,and the hardware selection and wiring method are clarified.And the data communication function of the system,including on-site data reporting function and Web server background data receiving function are designed in detail.The system's Web service function is designed,which divided into three modules:basic information management,historical data management,and real-time monitoring management,design the corresponding class structure,functional sequence flow,etc.,and encode it for implementation.Finally,the system is tested and analyzed,including hardware test,data communication test,Web service test and performance test,to verify the development results of the system.The application effect of the system has reached the company's expected goal.It can realize the remote real-time monitoring and alarm of power cable faults through acombination of software and hardware,thereby improving the efficiency and quality of the company's cable operation and maintenance management.For other power companies,the technical solutions of the system also have a high reference value.
