Diabetes is a type of metabolic disease characterized by hyperglycemia,which is divided into T1 DM and T2 DM,of which type 1 diabetes is related to autoimmunity,and type 2 diabetes is mainly caused by acquired habits and has not been completely cured.means.For patients with diabetes,if blood glucose is not controlled in time,complications caused by diabetes may be life-threatening,so long-term blood glucose management is a necessary behavior to maintain a normal life.Glycemic management behaviors include medication,diet control,and exercise.Blood glucose monitoring is very important for blood glucose self-management.It can provide feedback to patients’ glucose control behavior,guide patients’ further actions,and have a certain role of supervision and restraint on patients’ daily habits.There are many types of blood glucose monitoring technologies and products on the market,and different monitoring methods have their own advantages and disadvantages.But in general,they are moving in the direction of simplifying operations and reducing trauma.In order to cope with the relatively scarce medical resources in China,the concept of orderly medical treatment should be further promoted,and the diagnosis and treatment of chronic and common diseases should be left in community clinics.Diabetes is a typical chronic disease.The treatment and care of patients should be mainly carried out at home and in community clinics.In this article,we will analyze the characteristics and needs of the diabetic doctors and patients group,combined with the community medical service model based on the Internet of Things,and adopt a new type of detection technology-photonic crystal detection,to design a self-monitoring for diabetic patients product.
