With the continuous development of the railway system,the train has become an indispensable travel tool in daily life.Modern electric locomotives replace the old diesel locomotives to provide people with an environmentally friendly and convenient way to travel,but the frequent traffic accidents threaten people’s life and property safety.As the only power source of electric locomotive,pantograph is very important to the running safety of locomotive.Therefore,to ensure the healthy state of pantograph,to detect and maintain the pantograph in time has always been the focus of Railway Bureau.As a bridge between locomotive and catenary,pantograph rises when driving and falls when parking.With the increase of locomotive driving times,the fatigue degree of pantograph lifting system is also increasing,which may lead to failure.However,at this stage,in our country,manual inspection is still the main way for timely maintenance and repair of the pantograph lifting system,so it is of certain significance to study the detection of pantograph.In order to realize the automation of pantograph lifting time detection earlier,this paper designs a pantograph lifting time detection system based on computer image processing technology.The system takes the pantograph video by industrial camera,detects the video by detection algorithm,and calculates the moving time of the pantograph.The system detection algorithm can be divided into two parts,the first part is the moving object detection algorithm,the second part is the pantograph head detection algorithm.The algorithm design of the system includes frame difference method,background subtraction method,GMG algorithm,hog operator,support vector machine,random forest and SSD network.Based on SSD network,tinysd network is proposed.At present,there is no research institution to disclose the pantograph data set,so this paper obtains the pantograph picture samples by taking the pantograph placed in the school,and establishes the pantograph data set after screening,labeling and data enhancement of the picture samples.The data set of pantograph is used to test several algorithms,and GMG algorithm and tinysds network are selected to compose the detection algorithm of the system.The test results of the system show that it basically meets the technical standards of Railway Bureau for the time detection of pantograph lifting and lowering,which is of certain significance for the development of this field.
