With the wide use of steel structure buildings, all kinds of possible emergencies are accompanied by the service life cycle of the structure, and the terrorist bomb explosion, gas explosion in life, industrial supplies explosion and other accidental explosions will cause great harm to the building. In order to ensure that the structure has good resistance to accidental impact load,it is very important to analyze the dynamic response and failure mode of the structure or components so as to improve the anti explosion ability of the structure and components. This paper analyzes the dynamic response and failure mode of the box column I-beam joint of steel frame under the indoor explosion load.(1)In this paper, the explicit dynamic analysis software ANSYS / LS-DYNA is used to simulate the shock wave propagation in the room after TNT explosive explodes in the center of the room under three different equivalent levels. It is found that the peak overpressure of the explosion load at the joint is strengthened, but the strengthening area is very small. The same simplified load time history curve can be used along the length direction of the beam and column.Extract and simplify three groups of load time history curves of room beams and columns under different equivalent conditions.(2)ABAQUS was used to simulate the existing experiments to verify the correctness of the selected material model and parameters.A steel frame structure is designed and ABAQUS is used to simulate its dynamic response to indoor explosion. It is found that the damage of the room components directly subjected to the explosion load is serious, and the beam end node in the explosion room is the weakest area.(3)The simplified frame is divided into two parts: the plane simplified frame used for the beam subjected to the in-plane explosion load and the space simplified frame used for the beam subjected to the lateral explosion load. There are three types of joint commonly used in the design: welded joint, bolt welded hybrid joint and "dog bone" joint. The simplified frame is used to analyze the dynamic response and failure mode of the three types of joint under indoor explosion load.It is found that the failure mode of joint is tension bending failure of beam end section. The three kinds of joints have the same ability to resist the lateral explosion load. When the beam is subjected to the explosion load in the plane, the "dog bone" joint has better anti explosion performance.Increasing the moment of inertia of the beam end section and the tensile strength of the joint can improve the explosion resistance of the joint.A new type of joint device is designed to reinforce the joint.
