| As the main structure of urban traffic in China,pedestrian bridge plays a key role in the control of urban traffic,and it is particularly important to improve the stability and safety of pedestrian bridge during its service.In this paper,a rubber friction compound damper is proposed and developed based on the commonly used passive control method,and its performance is studied.It can be divided into the following aspects:(1)Through the summary of the current research situation of several kinds of dampers,the design concept and working principle of the dampers are understood,and the limitations of various dampers are finally clarified.According to the limitation of several kinds of dampers,a new type of damper,rubber friction composite damper,is developed.Its basic structure and working principle are introduced in detail.A batch of damper specimens are prepared according to the design size of the damper,and the low cycle repeated load test is carried out.The test results show that the damper has good hysteretic performance,complex damping theoretical characteristics and conforms to the design need.(2)The finite element software ABAQUS is used to simulate the energy dissipation structure,material properties,boundary conditions and contact behavior of the damper,and to establish a simplified numerical analysis model.Finally,the calculation results of the numerical model are close to the test results.Then,based on the above numerical model,the influence of four factors on the energy dissipation performance of the damper,such as different rubber materials,the compression amount of rubber in interference fit,the overall thickness of rubber filler and the thickness of steel casing,is analyzed.It will provide corresponding support for the design and development of this kind of damper in the future.(3)A practical project is taken as an example to analyze the practical effect of the damper.The damper designed in this paper is used as the damping element of TMD,and the TMD system is applied to the vibration control analysis of the pedestrian bridge.Considering the vibration response analysis of the bridge under the excitation of crowd load,the final test and theoretical results show that the vibration reduction effect is significant after TMD is installed,which shows that the rubber friction composite damper has good application effect in TMD.. |
