With the development of modern technology science and the promotion of the new and old kinetic energy conversion strategies,the new type dual-rotor engine with small size,light weight,low emissions,high energy density,and low vibration noise pollution as a useful supplement to the new energy products,it has become one of the research hotspots in the field of intertal combustion engines.However,as a new type of internal combustion engine,there is still no reference to the new type dual-rotor engine mechanism,fatigue life and reliability of the structure,It needs to be completed with the help of modern simulation software and test technology.In this paper,based on research and development of the new type dual-rotor engine of the school-enterprise cooperation project,a new three-dimensional model of the new dual-rotor engine is constructed,and the dynamic simulation of the engine transmission mechanism is carried out,the dynamic characteristics of the transmission mechanism under the high speed rotating condition of the engine are obtained and the model of the new type dual-rotor engine transmission mechanism is constructed by finite element simulation analysis,and the statics Characteristics;the new type dual-rotor engine transmission mechanism under extreme operating conditions are studied.The alternating load of the transmission mechanism and the fatigue life curve of a material,and simulated and analyzed the fatigue life of the new dual-rotor engine transmission mechanism under the effect of alternating load;on the basis of the study of structural optimization technology,with the help of large simulation analysis software The Opti Struct platform in Hypermesh completes the topology optimization and structural optimization design of the transmission mechanism.The main content of the paper is as follows:(1)According to the design concept,a three-dimensional model of a new type dual-rotor engine transmission mechanism is constructed,the working principle of the new type double-rotor engine transmission mechanism is studied,and the dynamic simulation analysis of the new type dual-rotor engine transmission mechanism is realized by means of the kinematics simulation software,the Law of motion change of the new dual-rotor engine transmission mechanism is revealed.(2)The alternating load of the new type dual-rotor engine is studied,and the fatigue life curve of the new type dual-rotor engine transmission mechanism is obtained by combining with the test technology.The fatigue life analysis of the new type dual-rotor engine transmission mechanism is completed with the help of the finite element simulation analysis platform.The fatigue life of the transmission mechanism is greater than or equal to 1.53*10~7times,meeting the fatigue life requirements of the material.(3)On the basis of the simulation analysis of the maximum static load and fatigue conditions,the paper uses the optimization design theory and simulation analysis software,In order to optimize the secondary rotor piston mass and the maximum stress of the structure as constraints,the topology optimization design and structural optimization design of the secondary rotor piston were carried out.The optimization design results show that,under the premise of ensuring the strength of the structure under the static loading limit is unchanged,the mass of the rotor piston is reduced from3.48kg to 3.42kg,and the weight is reduced to 0.06kg.After optimization,the mass is reduced by 2%.
