Vehicle to Vehicle(V2V)communications play a key role in the deployment and application of vehicle networking system, and the channel model is the premise and foundation for the development of V2 V communication technology. Therefore, the wireless channel modeling for the vehicle networking communication scenario has become a research hotspot in the field of V2 V communications. The complex and changeable communication scenarios make the V2 V channel present the non-stationary characteristics that the traditional channel does not have, which brings new challenges for the establishment of accurate and effective channel models. Therefore, this paper studies the modeling and statistical analysis of V2 V non-stationary channel. The main work of this paper is as follows:Firstly,a two-dimensional(2D)two-ring geometry-based stochastic model is proposed for V2 V non-stationary channels in a wide scene. To describe the non-stationarity of the channel, this paper introduces the time-varying angle of arrival and departure into the model.Based on the 2D model, the spatial cross-correlation function and the time autocorrelation function of the channel are derived, and the influence of the scattering environment, motion state of the mobile terminal and antenna deflection angle on the channel statistical characteristics and non-stationarity are studied. The simulation results show that the 2D model can effectively simulate the non-stationarity of the V2 V channel, and the statistical characteristics of the channel in the stationary state are consistent with the statistical characteristics of stationary two-ring model, which verifies the correctness of the model derivation.Secondly,in order to accurately model the V2 V channel of the street scene, this paper proposes a new three-dimensional(3D)non-stationary geometry-based stochastic channel model. This model assumes that the moving scatterers are distributed on the 2D two-ring and the stationary scatterers are distributed on the 3D cylindrical surface.According to the time evolution process, the time-varying channel parameters caused by the movement of the mobile terminal are derived, and the channel impulse response of the 3D model is obtained.Based on the 3D model, the factors influencing the statistical characteristics and non-stationary of V2 V MIMO channel are studied. The simulation results show that the scattering environment parameters, vehicle motion direction and antenna deflection angle all affect the statistical characteristics and non-stationary of the channel, and the validity of the new 3D model is verified by comparing the 2D model with the 3D model. The proposed 3D model is a general model for non-stationary V2 V MIMO channel, which can simulate a variety of V2 V communication environment channels by adjusting model parameters.
