With the improvement of people's living standards and users'higher comfort requirements for buildings, the proportion of building energy consumption in the total energy consumption of the whole industry is increasing year by year.Among them, the growth rate of the number of office buildings and the energy consumption index per unit area are on the rise,so reducing the energy consumption of office buildings is of great significance to energy consumption. In the process of architectural design, the early design stage is the key link to form architectural form, and the early design stage plays a decisive role in the final performance. However, due to the limitation of professional knowledge,HVAC designers do not participate in the architectural design process at this time.At present, the decision-making in the early design stage is mainly based on the architect's own experience and the owner's requirements, guided by intuition, experience and planning, and lacks the support of corresponding information technology. How to give architects real-time and reliable information support in the early design stage to avoid architects making wrong design decisions in the design stage,so using performance simulation tools the early design stage can provide guidance for architects to make design decisions in this design stage.Windows,as one of the important envelope elements, have a great impact on building performance?lighting, energy consumption,vision,ventilation,etc.?.Window design is an important part of the early design stage. The most important design parameter in window design is the window to wall ratio, which is the most important factor affecting building energy consumption.By discussing the influence of design conditions such as window to wall ratio, window direction, climate, office space scale and lighting power density on lighting and load performance of buildings, this paper studies the correlation between window to wall ratio and lighting and load performance under different design conditions, and the distribution of optimal window to wall ratio in each window orientation. To Provide reasonable window to wall ratio for office building design stage, and to provide preliminary design information for architects. The thesis mainly conducts the following aspects:?1?The influence of building attribute parameters on building energy consumption.According to the characteristics of early design stage, this part will discuss the input parameters when using performance simulation software in the scheme design stage. Then, according to the object of this study and the characteristics of the input parameters of architectural performance simulation, four building structural parameters, namely, heat transfer coefficient of external wall, heat transfer coefficient of external window,SHGC and window to wall ratio, are selected to study their effects on energy consumption of office space.?2?Study on the influence of window to wall ratio on total energy consumption of office space under different design conditions.Design Builder was used to simulate lighting and load performance under different design conditions. The effects of 12 upward window to wall ratios on total energy consumption?energy consumption of artificial lighting, heating and refrigeration?were analyzed under two lighting conditions in four sub-climatic regions and eight representative cities of two sizes of office space.?3?Study on the recommended window to wall ratio s with different window orientations. This paper analyzes the distribution pattern of the relationship between the window to wall ratio and the total energy consumption of 12 oriented office spaces of 8representative cities in 4 sub-climate areas in cold regions.Taking?ECRR?Relative percentage of total energy consumption in window orientation and window to wall ratio?as a parameter to determine the recommended window to wall ratio, combined with the design preferences of architects and the needs of owners,it provides a recommended area ratio of window to wall for architects in the early design stage.
