Study On The Architectural Style Of New Tongzhou City

Tongzhou,namely Dali County,Weinan City,Shaanxi Province,was once an important town of Guandong Government,with good geographic factors and historical precipitation.However,due to blindly following the trend in architectural design and lack of regional awareness,the current urban architectural style converges.At the same time,due to the design limitations of different types of buildings and the lack of consideration of modern aesthetic needs,the contradiction between modern functions and traditional architectural scales is caused.Based on the excavation of the characteristic elements of traditional buildings in Tongzhou and the design of local styles in combination with cases,this paper puts forward the methods of exploring new urban architectural styles in Tongzhou,with a view to providing some design ideas for building with both traditional cultural connotation and new era adaptability in Tongzhou.Firstly,combined with regional characteristics and cultural connotations,this paper explores and studies the characteristics of traditional buildings in Tongzhou from three aspects: architectural form,architectural decoration,color and material.In the aspect of architectural form,the characteristics are analyzed from three aspects: settlement layout,architectural layout and architectural monomer;in the aspect of architectural decoration,brick carving,wood carving and stone carving are analyzed and discussed;in the aspectof color and material,the characteristics of architectural color and material,natural environment color and folk culture color are excavated and sorted out respectively.Then,it explores the expression method of local style to form,component,color and material,and summarizes the common architectural characteristics of Tongzhou into three points,namely,honesty,simplicity and regularity,so as to provide basis and support for the modern application of Tongzhou traditional architecture.At the same time,the design steps of the new "Tongzhou" urban architectural style are put forward:(1)to explore the common characteristics of architectural elements,(2)to summarize the types and scope of application of architectural elements,(3)to select and express architectural elements,so as to provide design ideas for the architectural creation of the new high-speed railway area.Finally,through the creation of comprehensive public buildings,commercial public buildings and office public buildings in Dali High-speed Railway New Area,the traditional architectural elements of Tongzhou are expressed from three aspects:architectural form,detail components,architectural color and materials.This paper explores the design method which can not only inherit the traditional architectural context,but also meet the requirements of architectural spirit and function in the new "Tongzhou" urban architectural style design.
