| Different kinds of manufacturing tolerance of high-pressure compressor blades may seriously affect the blade quality and aerodynamic performance,so investigating the impact of manufacturing tolerance on compressor performance can provide theoretical basis for the actual process. This paper selects one high-pressure compressor rotor as the subject of study, and use the uncertainty quantification method to perform the comprehensive steady numerical simulation.Firstly, investigate the impact of different kinds of single tolerance such as twisted, profile, positional and leading edge tolerance independently on the aerodynamic performance, and then,on this basis, further study the impact of randomly combined tolerance. At the same time, sensitivity analysis are performed to compare the degree of influence of different tolerance to different performance. Finally, choose twisted tolerance as the specific study subject to deeply analyze the impact of nonuniform circumferential distribution mode on the total performance and flow field through multi-passage simulation. The results show that to the impact of single tolerance, the axial positional tolerance of several schemes lead to the seriously reduced surge margin. For example, the surge margin of all the schemes of top section all reduce obviously. When the top section arrives-1 millimeters’ deviation, the surge margin declines by 14%.To the bottom section, especially when the bottom section arrives-1 millimeters’ deviation, the surge margin declines by three quarters compared to the original data. What’s more, through the sensitivity analysis, the sensitivity of normalized mass flow and total pressure ratio to the twisted tolerance, isentropic efficiency to the profile tolerance of top section, and surge margin to the axial positional tolerance of top and bottom section are the strongest. To the impact of combined tolerance, the Spearman rank correlation coefficients of twisted tolerance to the normalized mass flow, isentropic efficiency and total pressure ratio are all topped the list, which means that it has the leading effects to the rotor performance. And at the same time, the effect of profile tolerance of top section is relatively serious as well. Finally, through multi-passage simulation and attempts of different distribution schemes,an optimized circumferential distribution mode named as quasisinusoidal distribution mode is put forward which can highly reduce the performance loss results from the manufacturing tolerance. |
