The proper water supply network pressure can minimize background leakage and the occurrence of pipe burst while meeting the service water pressure requirements.Pressure management has become the most effective measure recognized by the water supply industry to reduce leakage and is of great significance to water supply enterprises.This study aims at the problem that using a single measure,such as pressure reducing valve decompression or pump station control,to regulating the pressure can't farthest reduce the pressure in the water supply network,and presents a pressure optimization model for regulating of valve cooperating with pumping station based on pressure partition,which aims to minimize the pressure of water network.(1)The study on pressure partition method of water supply network: The pressure change from the beginning to the end of the urban water supply pipe network will be stratified and have certain similarities.Based on the principle of pressure similarity and the topology of water network,a pressure partition method based on breadth first search neighbor clustering algorithm is proposed.Firstly,using the three parameters of free water pressure,X coordinate and Y coordinate of node to calculate the node dissimilarity,and the neighbor points of each node are searched in turn,and the nodes with similar dissimilarity are classified into one class until the clustering of all nodes is completed.Secondly,the clustering result is combined with the DMA partition,the management partition and the topology of water network,which can get the partition scheme.Finally,the boundary valve between the partitions is closed,and the hydraulic model is used for simulation calculation to judge whether the scheme is feasible by whether the node pressure meets the water supply service pressure.(2)The establishment of a pressure optimization model for regulating of valve cooperating with pumping station: First,after the pressure partition is divided,the pressure reducing valve is set at the entrance of the partition;then,a pressure optimization model for regulating of the valve coordinating pump station is established to minimize the water supply water network pressure and solved by the particle swarm optimization algorithm.The decision variable is the setting of pressure reducing valves and the speed ratio of the variable s peed pumps.And the model is constrained by the pressure-driven hydraulic model and the node service level.(3)The application study of the pressure optimization model: Taking the water supply pipe network of HX development zone in a southern city as an e xample,the pressure partition is carried out,and the technology of valve coordination pumping station control is implemented to reduce the pressure of the pipe network.After regulation,the average pressure of the pipe network decreased by 10.4%,and th e pipe network leakage rate decreased from 15.01% to 11.8%.Research shows that the pressure optimization model for regulating of valve cooperating with pumping station can be applied to the actual water supply pipe network pressure management.
