The use of a real power lithium battery pack to test and verify the battery management system not only has long test cycle and poor repeatability,but also has potential safety hazards in some extreme test conditions.Therefore,it is particularly important to design a power lithium battery simulator that can be used to replace the real power battery pack.Based on the Key Research and Development Program of Hunan Province(2017GK2201)and the electric logistics vehicle project developed by Changsha Meihua Automobile Co.,Ltd.,this paper designed a power lithium battery simulator which can be used for BMS test and verification.The main contents of this paper are as follows:(1)The research status of lithium battery simulator at home and abroad in this field was analyzed and summarized.By comparing the existing power lithium battery simulator topology structure,the basic topology structure designed in this paper was proposed.(2)Based on the Simscape module of MATLAB & Simulink,the second-order Thevenin model of the power lithium battery was established.The parameters of power lithium battery model was identified by recursive least square method with forgetting factor,and the second-order Thevenin model of power lithium battery after parameter identification was verified.(3)Using Freescale's 16-bit microcontroller MC9S12XEP100 as the main control chip of the power lithium battery simulator.and completed the circuit design of the minimum system module,voltage generator module,fault simulation module and communication circuit module.(4)The main program of the power lithium battery simulator was designed,and the sub-programs corresponding to each module of the hardware circuit of the power lithium battery simulator were designed in detail.(5)The test contents of power lithium battery simulator were divided into hardware circuit test,software program test and BMS platform test.After testing the power lithium battery simulator,it was verified that the designed power lithium battery simulator can be used for BMS test and verification.
